The Best of the 70s is a Celebration of the Greatest Music of All Time. This show SOLD OUT the Ridgefield Playhouse and The Dome at the Oakdale in 2019, so get your tickets fast! It features the timeless songs of artists like Neil Young, The Beatles, CSN, Van Morrison, Rolling Stones, America, John Denver, The Eagles, Don McLean, James Taylor, Bob Seger, Billy Joel, Cat Stevens, Willie Nelson, Eric Clapton, Rod Stewart, Jimmy Buffet, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Neil Diamond, Led Zeppelin, Kenny Rogers, The Grateful Dead & More!!
70s fans of all ages will be singing along to songs like; “Margaritaville”, “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”, “Country Roads”, “Let It Be”, “Teach Your Children”, “On the Road Again”, “Sweet Caroline”, “Horse with No Name” and “American Pie.”
“The Best of the 70s” features a great band DizzyFish led by Eric Herbst with Special Guest Backup Singers Angela Clemmons, Sharon Jerry-Collins and 2 Choirs. Eric & DizzyFish have rocked audiences opening for Steve Miller, Three Dog Night, Marshall Tucker and many others. Eric as well as being a powerful live performer has written and produced original songs recorded by musical legends B.B. King and Johnny Cash.
Angela has had a 35-year career singing and performing with some of the biggest names in music such as Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Steely Dan, and many others.
Sharon’s musical journey has taken her around the world, touring, recording, and performing with such artists as Billy Preston, Whitney Houston, Roberta Flack, Bette Midler, and many others. Sharon has also appeared on Saturday Night Live.
For this special one night only show The Best of the 70s will be joined by a 50+ plus member choir. The Best of the 70s will be joined by members from 2 different CT choirs, Jonathan Law & Foran High Schools in Milford Both Choirs are led by our own amazing Angela Clemmons. This group of singers are lovingly referred to as The Best of the 70s Choir when part of our show. April 5th they will join us for 3 incredible encores.
